About Alpha Cooling
Alpha Cooling Professional® combines blood cooling through the palms (which are main heat exchangers in the body) with a defined negative pressure. This allows slightly cooler blood to enter the circulation more efficiently, as the constriction of small capillary vessels is prevented.
This deliberate lowering of blood temperature had previously only been achieved with ice baths or cryo chambers. These methods are very complex, and cryo chambers, in particular, are expensive to maintain, unpleasant for the customer, and not suitable for everyone from a health perspective. With ice baths and cryo chambers, the cold is applied externally, causing the capillaries to constrict in order to protect the body from hypothermia, unlike with Alpha Cooling treatment, where the body remains in a comfortable relaxed state, allowing for the cool blood to circulate everywhere immediately triggering various beneficial processes in the body.
The advantage of Alpha Cooling Professional® is that it is comfortable and easy to use, yet it ensures the customer receives the utmost beneficial cryotherapy effect.

How does it work
Multiple cooling and warming cycles (compared to just 2-3 minutes in cryo chambers and ice baths) more efficiently stimulate the vagus nerve, improve circulation, reduce inflammation markers (CRP), and slow down aging processes.
Additionally, the body is stimulated to release various hormones.
For instance, cortisol has stress-reducing and anti-inflammatory effects, while dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin improve mood. Irisin (the “exercise hormone”) enhances performance.
Further benefits of cold therapy include:
• Stimulation of collagen production (anti-aging)
• Activation of brown fat and fat burning
• Autophagy (cellular cleansing processes)
• Significant improvement in overall well-being
Moreover, Alpha Cooling Professional® efficiency is remarkably higher than that of ice baths and cryo chambers.
A full cycle takes only 18 minutes and is performed 2-3 times per week.
